What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Due to New York State Department of Health guidelines one of the following items are required before scheduling your DNA testing appointment.

  1. A prescription referral from a NYS licensed doctor.
  2. A letter requesting a DNA test from NYS licensed Attorney. The letter must state the full names of each participant involved with your DNA test as shown on your state-issued ID.
  3. A court order from a judge.

In addition to the above mentioned state requirements all participant must walk with New York State identification.

Please note: Children under the age of 18 year of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

How will my DNA samples be collected?

All DNA samples are collected by buccal cheek swab. Blood sample collection is viable option with the same accuracy as cheek swab collection but are more invasive, painful and expensive.
