What do I need to bring to my appointment?
New York State residents are required to provide one of the following documents before we can schedule an appointment listed below.
- Prescription referral from a NYS licensed doctor.
- A letter from NYS licensed Attorney.
- A court order from a judge.
All testing participants must bring valid government-issued identification (driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID)
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who can provide consent for testing.
What is the method of DNA sample collection?
DNA samples are collected using a painless buccal (cheek) swab. Blood samples can also be used and provide the same level of accuracy, but they are more invasive, painful and are more expensive.
